International Monetary Fund warns Ireland to prepare for shocks

Even though Ireland has shown remarkable growth the IMF has warned the country to prepare itself for international shocks. The head of the IMF, Christine Lagarde, said while the Irish economy is showing strong employment and economic growth she urged that Ireland should set up a rainy day fund to better prepare for international economic shocks. She said that Brexit would bring a influx of financial services firms into Ireland however with that the EU regulatory and supervisory capacity would come with it.
